Stakeholder survey + Meeting coincident with IWBDA mid-August

API Working Group Members,

In addition to the bi-annual NIST meetings, we hope to reconvene the API working group coincident with IWBDA 2015, which takes place in Seattle, August 19-21st. Telepresence will be accommodated.

As a group, we will discuss:

- Scope of the working group

- Existing standards

- Enumerate benchmark experiments

Let us know what times work for you to meet on this Doodle. We'll use the Doodle responses and meet at the time when most participants are available. Please respond before August 1st.

Ahead of that meeting, whether you attend or not, we ask that you answer two questions, describing your interests and goals for this working group. Responses will be public for anyone to see.

Let's keep emails in this group to a minimum, so the group can remain a reliable broadcast channel - please post / reply-all sparingly.

API Working Group,

There was little overlap among those who provided their availability, and it seems the best course of action is to organize a webcon instead of a physical meeting, sometime after IWBDA. 

In the mean time, we should continue working together to clarify the scope, mission, and vision of this working group, in order to drive its involvement, investment, and utility. We look forward to continued discussions with those of you attending IWBDA.
