SBS Fun Day - Postponed

After careful deliberation the PTA has decided to postpone the Fun Day
to next term for the following reasons:
- a lot of the new parents (and some older ones) have apparently not
received any of the Fun day correspondences and as such have not been
carried along. As a result, parent participation has been low;
- the school has a lot of other year-end activities that are going on
during the same time, putting a lot of pressure on both parents and
teachers;
- sponsorship of the event has been slow coming in and with less than
2 weeks to go, there's not much time left to solicit additional
sponsorship.
We plan to focus instead on getting the parents and teachers together
either this year or next and then handing over to a new Exco at that
time.
