From Kate and Brian Smith:
For sale: TWO All-Electric Chevy S-10's...White pick-up trucks (not mentioned in the movie "Who Killed the EV?" but from the same GOVERNMENT PROGRAM. 1997. Cost per truck was $100,000. Most were destroyed at the end of the program.)
The truck batteries were converted by the famous EV Bones to the lithium-cadium (?) and it cost $10,000 per truck.
The trucks are light-weight (not heavy-duty enough for my husband's newspaper delivery business) and are in good condition.
There is a charger for each truck. The truck will go 50 miles but should then be plugged in so that the batteries do not get "run down" below a 50% charge.
The price is substantially reduced if you buy both of them, as one is in good working order but the other is questionable...$15,000. for both.
