Please join us on Tues, March 11 at 6:30pm for the monthly Santa Barbara Beaver Brigade meeting. Along with regular discussion group, we are planning for the upcoming Annual SLO Beaver Festival in San Luis Obispo, we are cosponsors of the event. It takes place on April 12th 2025, 10am – 3pm SLO Mission Plaza, San Luis Obispo, CA, don’t miss it, so fun, and San Luis Obispo so beautifully green in the Spring, a great day trip.
Also just announced, the 2025 State of the Beaver annual conference, November 18-20th, once again at the Seven Feather Conventions Center, Canyonville Oregon (just south of Roseburg). We attended two years ago, it was exceptional, beaver & wildlife enthusiasts & experts from all over the country. Very important to support all beaver endeavors, they can help so much with fires, drought, and capturing carbon in wetlands they create, while government is cutting funding on EVERYTHING, beavers work for free.
Hope to see you, it’s a special time just to visit & talk with others when things seem a bit uncertain, human connection so important.
