SANTA BARBARA BEAVER BRIGADE
Please join us on Tues, November 12 at 6:30pm for the monthly Santa Barbara Beaver Brigade meeting. We will share our recent experiences attending the International BeaverCON conference in Boulder Colorado, with 500 attending!
It was a joy to be there on the beautiful University of Boulder (CU) campus, with people from around the world. Can't help but be happy with all the beaver developments, they're having significant positive impact on environments everywhere. Including the UK, where presenters shared success stories of reintroducing beaver in Wales & England, even in the city of London!
We will also share updates about the new Salinas River Center planned for the upper Salinas river north of Atascadero, CA. And the good news about the California “Beaver Bill” unanimously passed by both the California State Assembly & Senate, and signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.
