SANTA BARBARA BEAVER BRIGADE

 

Hi everyone, we won’t have a meeting this month, please look forward to resuming in August.  Meetings always the 2^nd Tuesday of the month, at the South Coast Watershed Resource Center at Arroyo Burro County Park.

 

We are also working on a field trip to the Ventura River with Paul Jenkins of the Ventura Surfrider Foundation, and the Matilija Coalition, who has been working with Surfrider Foundation on the Matilija Dam removal & ecosystem restoration. 

 

Paul sees beaver potential in that watershed!   Stay tuned for details.

 

Wes Roe and Margie Bushman just returned from the 15^th Annual Martinez Beaver Festival, and will share information about that great event at the August meeting.  Thanks to Heidi & John Perryman Worth A Dam for their commitment to making that Martinez Beaver Festival happen & continue, two exceptional people, that event started so much! .
