Hi all,

I'm currently working on a mobile web project that requires compatibility across iOS and a few Android devices. As an Apple fan-boy I've got all the iOS devices I need to test with but none of these Android ones. Does anyone have any tips or advice as to how I can procure the following devices for 1-2 weeks for testing? I'd prefer not to have to buy all of these phones and working out of the Verizon stores for a few hours a day might not go so well.

Android Models:

1. Samsung Galaxy S3
2. Google Nexus 4
3. Motorola Razr i

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Best,

//Andrew Le

Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions. Unfortunately, one of the issues with using emulators for this project is that it's a browser-based game written in JS using canvas and I need to be able to assess and debug performance/frame rate issues for the given hardware. The provided ADT emulator has been fine for working through rendering issues so far, but I fear this last leg will need to go to real hardware as performance in the emulator is miserable.

Thanks again,

//A

Hey Andrew,
Have you looked into something like - Sauce labs or browserstack.com ? Instead of buying a bunch of phones?

Hey Andrew,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2.  If that would work for you, you can borrow it for few weeks.

That's very generous of you Mark, thank you. I may take you up on that offer during the first week of March and will be happy to buy you a beer for the trouble. :-)

Thanks,
