COMMUNICATIONSWe are excited to invite you to attend two upcoming events: the International Workshop on Bio-Design Automation (IWBDA) and the Computational Modeling in Biology Network (COMBINE).
The 15th annual IWBDA meeting will take place in Boston from September 11-14, 2023, during Bio-Design Week. The event will include presentations and poster talks, discussions with colleagues, and breakout sessions on selected topics. The aim is to provide a forum for cross-disciplinary discussion and collaboration between researchers from the synthetic biology, systems biology, and design automation communities. You can find more information here: IWBDA: International Workshop on Biodesign Automation We are excited to announce that there will be SBOL sessions during the event! Our workshops will be available in a hybrid format, so you can choose to join us in person or from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. To make sure everything runs smoothly, and everyone has a great experience, we’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to RSVP using this form.
COMBINE will be hosted at the University of Connecticut, Farmington. The meeting will be held from October 5-8, 2023, and will include talks about the COMBINE standards and associated or related standardization efforts, presentations of tools using these standards, breakout sessions for detailed discussions, and tutorials. For additional information, visit: Combine: Coordinating standards for modeling in Biology
We look forward to seeing you at these events to learn about the latest developments in bio-design automation and computational modeling in biology. This is a great opportunity to connect with other community members and contribute to the advancement of Synthetic Biology.
Don’t forget to join our Slack channel to connect with other synthetic biology enthusiasts, exchange ideas and projects, and get the latest news and updates. To join, visit the link: Join Synthetic Biology Open Language on Slack
Thank you for your interest and participation!
