OLC Peer Learning Session

Please join us for an informal, no-cost, peer-to-peer session with Oregon Tilth Accredited Organic Land Care practitioner, Holde Finke, of Native and Urban Gardens, in Eugene.

Holde started working on this 1/4 block site in late February. A 70 unit condominium with a large courtyard holding the only lawn areas and a pool, the remaining plantings have extensive shrub and tree plantings with a few perennials.  The plantings are typical of the early seventies and most of the plants are in need of extensive renewal pruning.

 

We will be taking a look at the work that has been done to date and what needs to be done. We will also discuss what it was like working with a homeowners association; which has been a challenge. They have recently entered into a Tilth OLC agreement (Standard Agreement).
