Hi everyone! Thank you for your willingness to contribute to the development of this new SBML package. 

For your reference, the working draft of the specification can be found here.

The draft has a lot of discussion in the comments on issues that this working group should address. This discussion continued into the call for a vote on developing the package in sbml-discuss. To track progress on each issue, we would like to hold discussion per issue on sbmlteam/sbml-specifications. Issues will be tagged with “L3 Package: sde”. I will create the starting issues shortly based on Lucian’s summary in sbml-discuss and results from the vote. In summary, they are, 

1. Decide the name of the package
2. Determine appropriate support for stochastic integrals
3. Decide what details about noise should be included in the specification
4. Determine an appropriate means for specifying stochastic integrals
5. Clarify biological orientation

To mitigate any potential bias (and to consolidate the record), I will not attempt to paraphrase or summarize the discussion across various documents and pages. Instead, I will restate text from the draft specification as a prompt for those who are opinionated. Feel free to create additional issues through sbmlteam/sbml-specifications as you see fit.
