Salsa Rhythm iPhone Application v1.0 is ready !

Dear friends,

I am happy to announce the final release of Salsa Rhythm iPhone Application version 1.0. The project is running for three months already, and it would not have been the same without you and your contributions. I have compiled a list of all people who helped in putting this release together, including the beta-testers, proof-readers, user-interface sketchers, and graphic designers, and it's amazing to see how many different countries are involved:

For me, this project is a life proof that world-wide collaboration can achieve great results... This list will be included in the "about" screen of the final version, I hope I didn't forgot anybody - but if I did, please send me an email within the next 24h and I will add you name.

Tomorrow I am going to send Apple this version for the Appstore approval process, and once approved it will be available for everyone to download. The work, however, is not done yet - there's an outstanding list of features waiting for version 1.1. So expect more to come...

Last but not least - there's a small surprise I am preparing for you. For now, I will just say it will let you bring the iPhone version to your PC. I will publish all the details just before the iPhone version will be live on the AppStore.

Huh.  Weird.  They aren't showing up on my device.

Alex, you have seen them in the previous versions, right ?

Yes I've seen them in all of my versions.  When I get home later today I'll install the older version, if I can.

Yes it's there on the top, however it isn't consistently blinking with the beats on time, but keeps flowing though each  two measures repeated.

Yes, I have noticed there are some accuracy issues with their synchronization to the beat, I hope to get this sorted out in the next release, version 1.1. Alex, did u manage to figure out the reason why they did not appear on your device ?

I think it must be because I am jailbroken and I am using a theme that hides the page dots from my home screen.  You must be using the same api or something and those dots must be hidden across all apps.
