Hey :)
The app is great and very useful!
but I think that it would be really cool if u added a few more known
patterns to the montuno
such as Remenea, Valio la pena etc, and maybe some mambo like la
pantera mambo or something like those :)
but other then that, love it!

Hello !

I find that there are enough montunos for now, (of course more is always better;)

Are chacha montunos represented ?

Harmonic patterns are more missing to me (or I did not find them yet)

Best regards from Paris !

Hi !
I have seen the comment in the Iphone thread, about the counting, and
I may say I agree that a metronome, or a strong clave option could be
interesting, the vocal counts are good to learn steps but when
dancing I find them disturbing, because they make me react to the
vocal count more than to the music, some swing is lost then...

The different sequences with the differnt instruments may merit a
descriptive listing and some explanations, on which one goes with wich
one in what style of music.

I find generally very interesting to listen to each instrument pattern
and try to see which style of dance/music it is used for, but without
a real dictionnary, I cannot go very far.

So this is a very good tool (nice to use the rythmics to play piano or
percussions , also) , just waiting to evolve into a "salsa
laboratory" (with pattern assemby tools, for instance) !

ALl the best
