INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCUSSIONS:
Contributing to an ongoing discussion
1) ONLINE: by hitting "reply" to a post, your comment will be posted
in the discussion
2) ONLINE: by hitting "reply to author" your comment will be sent as a
private email
3) EMAIL: by sending an email to your group's email address with the
subject line as the title of the post, then the body of the email will
be the content of the post.
Staring a new discussion--create your own topic!

You can view the discussions in two ways (to change the view, click on
"options" on the right side of the screen)
1) "Standard view" (chronologically by date)
2) "View as tree" (a thread which groups replies together)

You can also minimize specific discussions by clicking on the green
name. You can also maximize by clicking on the name.

NOTE: if a thread is not discussed for 60 days, then it is archived
and comments can no longer be added
