Hunt the Grid II!There are still a few pre-registration slots open for our second annual Hunt the Grid bicycle scavenger hunt, mentioned briefly in today's
Sacramento Bee. If you want in on the fun, Friday is your last chance to register your team before the event. E-mail
hu...@sacbikekitchen.org to guarantee your spot! The scavenger hunt runs from 2 PM to no later than 6 PM this Saturday, May 8, starting at our shop at 1915 I Street. Teams are limited to four participants; participants must be over 18 and pay a $10 entry fee. Sign-in begins at 1:00 PM; unregistered teams are encouraged to arrive early.
Basic Maintenence ClassWe're also happy to announce that we're hosting another round of our basic maintenance classes on Sunday, May 16th, from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. This will be a repeat of the wonderful basic mechanics course that our volunteer Mel taught last week, and will segue into the larger set of classes we'll be rolling out next week. So if you want to learn about fixing flat tires, adjusting your brakes and derailleurs, and keeping your chain running smoothly, this is the place to come. Suggested $5 donation, limit 15 attendees. E-mail
cla...@sacbikekitchen.org to reserve a seat.
Happy hunting!
