This is an old message but I'm just seeing it now.
Yes, I have two apps in the store (Vegas Mate and Bombora).
Pricing is hard.
With Vegas Mate, I looked at prices for comparable guide books which
are usually about $12 or $13. Vegas Mate is $4.99 and I still consider
it a deal. It's sold well enough at that price that I don't think it's
a mistake.
Bombora was just released yesterday at $9.99. When we were pricing it,
we looked at other tools for the desktop - most are subscription based
and cost that much per month so again, we think it's cheap compared to
the competition.
One of the anecdotes I've heard about prices that has stuck with me:
if no one is complaining about your price, you are priced too low.
