Still doing Saturday general meetings at 2pm?

Hey folks — 

I'm interested in learning more about the local Hackerspace, is this Saturday a good time to drop in and find out more? I may bring a couple of friends who have also expressed interest.

Professionally I'm a video producer / animator / editor (perhoel.org), but I've always wanted to develop my hands-on creative skills, learn some basic electronics, and generally feel more confident and capable about custom-building tools and assets for the community and daily life. I'm also a part of a few local political organizing circles, and there's been talk of developing some solar-powered LED lamps as part of a public art project for the city.
