F1 Vs F1b Vs F2

The First generation Goldendoodle (F1) is a 50/50 cross between a
Golden Retriever and a Poodle, they can be Mini, medium or Large
sizes. These are mostly non shedding and hypo allergenic dogs. I
have placed one in a home with a family with allergies and for the
past year there has not been any problems with the owners allergies!

The Backcross or F1b generation is a F1 Goldendoodle crossed with a
Poodle, never use a Golden... Crossing with the poodle will weed out
the Golden shedding traits and make the dog more hypoallergenic!

The F2 generation is a cross between two goldendoodles, this cross
also eliminated the shedding and allergens from the coat.

The F1b has a more poodle appearance and the F2 can appear more of a
poodle as well.

The F1 is a Golden-looking dog...
