I see that Vienna Illinois has over 60 miles of trails that include a tunnel and trestles. Have any SBCrs ridden there? Is it worth the drive?

Yes, you’re referring to the great Tunnel Hill Trail, from Harrisburg to Vienna and beyond. It’s mostly in the Shawnee National Forest, where the roads are great, too, if sometimes challenging. Totally worth the drive. I would drive down there just to ride, then my wife turned out to be from southern Illinois, so in-law visits have been a treat for years now. Great hiking down there, too; endless hiking trails (but Tunnel Hill is the primary trail for biking).
