Ride Monday 9:30 Elgin to Algonquin

Happy Valentine’s Day!!   

Let’s start the 2026 biking season Monday (it’s a holiday!)

Meet at the Elgin Library Monday at 9:30.  The restrooms will be open there and the temp will be a mild 47 degrees with not much wind.  We will go North thru the Depot and on to Town Park in Algonquin.  That should be a 20 mile round trip.  30 miles if you would like to extend your ride to the Gazebo in Crystal lake.  (Optional).  The last half of the ride should be around 55 degrees!  The restrooms at Town Park are not scheduled to be open yet, Gazebo unsure.

Easy first season ride, not a race!  We will go the speed of the group.  Of course faster riders can run ahead if you would like to.    You can also join us at the Depot at 10:00.

Get your legs back and ready for an amazing season this year!!   

It would be nice if you let me know if you are coming by Sunday evening please.
