Saturday will have great weather for a ride.  Finally in the 50’s!   Any rain in the forecast for Saturday will end before our ride time.  (Of course we will watch to see if the forecast remains favorable).  

We start by the Dundee Depot for a ride of approx 22 miles. Park down by the BBQ pits  We leave  at 9:00, ride past the Elgin Library (possible potty stop) and down the trail to the Pate Philip State park and restrooms.  From there we cross to the West side of the river to return to Elgin and Dundee.  

Restrooms at the Depot are open as will be the restrooms at the library and at Pate Philips.  All paved in good condition except a short gravel section of only a couple hundred yards.  

Guests are welcome without charge for their first ride with us.  

Helmets are required, average speed 8-12 mph no one left behind.   Check out your bike if this is your first ride of the season to make sure your tires are properly inflated and in good shape.  If you have SBC vest or jersey, try to wear them to show off to other potential members.
