Well you know the expression no guts, no glory, well today we had the guts and the glory. It had rained considerably around here even I believe around 5:00. When I looked out at 6:30, it was very, very wet, puddles everywhere. I looked at several weather sites and of course they tell you differing things. With the help ot Cindy and Larry, I decided to chance it and have the ride. It was perfect. It was a nice temperature, the wind picked up a bit later, and the trail, and really roads when we left, were empty. There were no leaves to slip on because they haven't fallen yet. Nothing was slippery at all. Fortunately no one had any issue at all. I was joined by Ray M, Tony, Larry, Cindy B, Patti, Mansoor on the 24-mile ride. I am happy that you guys showed up to ride with me. When we left the parking lot there was no one much there. When we returned, however, it was craziness everywhere for the "No kings rally." Fortunately we all made it out of there too.
Thanks to all who joined me today.
Lynn
