Hi All,
Thanks for the initiatives.I would try my best to deposit the money tomorrow, if not by next week (Monday), as I have planned to travel during this long weekend.
Also I have a request if we can have an account opened for our association. This would help us to transfer funds online as there few people like me who are not staying in the apartment and it would help us to transfer funds whenever required without any delay.
Note - I am not able to send email to the management distribution list. I get an error that I do not have permission to send the email this id.
Regards

Friends, the motor winding and bushes and damaged and would cost us Rs. 3800/- for repairs now. For this month alone we have been spending close to Rs, 10,000/- towards repairs of motors (Sanitary - one time, Basement sump - two times). At this rate our maintenance costs are really going to shoot up...
We all really need to sit up and take notice of the matters which are happening in our apartment and how best we can plan for solutions to counter these kind of hassles which makes life miserable for each one of us. At least it makes life miserable for me to coordinate and run behind each of such instances. I am seriously missing out on my sleep after my night shift at work and participation from the flat owners to look into common issues are highly solicited.
Motors do not fail just because they are being used. It also indicates to a certain extent the treatment which it goes through (frequent removal andre fitmentof the motor head which is caused due to the flow of materials like diaper/napkins/plastic covers/vegetable waste etc and not humanfeces which the pit is intended for.) Due to the removal of the motor head, multiple times, on a daily basis, frequent priming is also required. This is another area of concern where the water being poured can enter the motor and cause winding damage. Remember, we have a standard motor and not a water-proof one. We have a second motor for sanitary which had earlier burnt out. That leaves us with two defective motors at hand and that also translates to additional cost for repairs.
Do we really have that kind of money to keep repairing these motors?. Do we really have that kind of time to run behind the repairs or monitor the way these motors are being handled?? . I don't.
It's time we woke up.

Hi Bhavesh,
Thanks for the note.
Friends, please note that the sanitary motor is not in a good condition at present and the motor head is already damaged due to frequent removal and refitting. At this point we are
not really sure how much more it can sustain and the earlier we have the alternate solution, the better it will be for all of us. What matters really is how quickly we can raise the required funds to place the order and get the cutting motor installed and your valuable contributions towards this cause is highly appreciated. Kindly do not miss out on the dates mentioned by Bhavesh below as we are looking to close out this problem during the long weekend coming up.
Your quick response to this call for action is anticipated.
Thanks.

Hi Team SBB Spring Field,
Greetings!!!
This is with regards to our previous discussion/meeting that happened on 15-AUG-2011. We had following points discussed and its time to act on those :-) , please find below the details:
Cutter motor for Sanitary:As per the quotation that wereceivedfrom New Era Engineers & Traders (attached), and in agreement with all the members of SBB Spring field, we will have to get this installation done before mid September (as Kamal will be going on holidays) and dependancy on Kamal is completely removed.
Fence Around Swimming pool:Since there is no wall or any thing like that around swimming pool, theirs a plan to erect a fence with gate around the pool so that we have a secure access and kids can play safely around in the compound.
Collapsible (Sliding) gate at main entrance:To have secure access to the building, as decided we will be erecting collapsible gate at the main entrance just behind the security room.
For the above said point, we are collecting Rs 3000/- from each flat owner, and as decided (in the meeting) as and when new owners start joining us, we can re-imburse or adjust the amount in future maintenance.
Please make yourself available on 31st Aug or 1st Sept 2011 between 11AM to 1PM for giving Krishna, Saji or myself (or SBB Management team members) the above said amount @ our SBB Spring Fields Party hall.
