I saw the same program and had the same thoughts. They showed an autistic
child who could not speak going from an alphabet board to an I pad with an
application that took themes or words and converted them voice. If we
provide Adam with this plus a voice to text application like I have on my
smart phone Adam should have a whole new world of communications. The
autistic kids usually can hear but a lot of them can't talk. For these kids
the I pad was revolutionary. I think this would be a great asset for Adam.
Count me in for getting him an I pad and applications. Let's hear from Tony
since he was working on some other kind of computer system.
