::He didn't blame the apes for not trusting him. He didn't trust them, either. But it was getting rather frustrating that they wouldn't let him go. He was merely a science officer who knew little about the plans of the Marshall.

::The same Marshall who had kidnapped their Captain and First Officer and then allowed his own right hand, General Kzan, to get captured. Cjunr had worked with Kzan for a long time and respected him.

::But the Marshall was distant. As most high ranking officers were. He wasn't out in the field with the General or Cjunr, instead making plans behind a desk. Such working styles did not tend to inspire loyalty among the troops. But Cjunr was loyal to Kzan. And Kzan had been captured and potentially cooperating.

::It was a trying situation, for sure. So, reluctantly, he would try to cooperate with these apes and find a medic. Even if it did mean supervision from some lowly ensign.::

Cjunr: Fine, Ensign Richards was it? Let's go, then...

Rosek: ::growls:: Stop! You don't give the orders around here. ::to Longza:: I'm fine. Don't let his attempts at complacency fool you. He'd escape in an instant given the opportunity.

::He gave a weary sigh. Where would he go? The Space Center was neutral ground and it was a long trip back to Justio territory.::

Blair: What gives you that impression Lieutenant?

Cjnur: ::he growled:: Just because I don't *want* to be here under guard doesn't mean I don't accept the situation as it is.

Fiorr: ?

Rosek: ::to Cjnur:: I'm an empath and a limited telepath. You're broadcasting loud and clear.

::His ears swept back in amazement. This woman could sense feelings and read minds? Amazing! Perhaps the apes were telling the truth. If they could read minds who knows what other powers they had? And they certainly could have destroyed them all already had they wanted to. He shivered at the thought, his hackles rising.::

Blair: I didn’t know your abilities were that strong Lieutenant.

Rosek: ::shakes her head:: Usually only by touch. The virus must be messing with my abilities.

Blair: ::wiping sweat from his brow:: We need to keep an eye one these ‘developments’ Lieutenant.

Rosek: ?

Blair: ::looking at Richards and Cjnur:: Ensign take him and find a medic. ::Alex looked directly at Cjnur.:: If he even moves like he’s going to get away from you Ensign, don’t hesitate to shoot him.

Richards: Aye, sir.

::He held up his hands, paws empty.::

Longza: That seems a bit harsh Commander Blair, but considering the predicament we are in I can understand. I’ll defer to your judgment.

Cjnur: That won't be necessary, I assure you. ::he sniffed:: Though I would do the same in your situation. ::he bowed his head in resignation::

Rosek/Fiorr: ?

Cjunr: I'll return as soon as we've found a medic.

::He and the armed one headed out. Though there was a small medical facility here he wasn't sure if it would be stationed, seeing as how the rest of the center was deserted.::
