(( Science Lab 4, USS Za ))
Mark: =/\= Mark to Dr. Alexander. =/\=
Alexander: ::taps her commbadge:: =/\= Go ahead, Mark. =/\=
Mark: =/\= Just wanted to let you know, thanks to your efforts the away teams are stable. Thanks to Dr. Skyfire's efforts, the teams are home. He and Maddy are also stabilized. I can only assume the Hocktin guest has been returned to his people. =/\=
::There was a sigh from Alexander, one of relief at the news that had been passed along. Alora offered her a slight smile.::
Alexander: =/\= Good to hear, Mark. I still have more batches to mix. Keep me updated.=/\=
Mark: =/\= Understood. Mark out.=/\=
::Her brown was creased in thought and Alora almost hated to interrupt.::
DeVeau: Good news.
Alexander: ::nods:: Mark says they're stable.
::That hadn’t been a secret since the conversation had been overheard, but Alora didn’t point thatout.::
DeVeau: You all right?
Alexander: ::shakes her head:: This was an utter disaster.
DeVeau: Maybe. Could have been a much worse disaster.
::That virus had been nasty, and it had left a testament as to how nasty. Like Alexander, Alora was glad it was almost over.::
Alexander: ::grins wryly:: I suppose, yes. I'm sad to say this will likely stick out in my service jacket as one of those infamous missions.
DeVeau: You and me both.
Alexander: ?
DeVeau: Well...I wouldn’t say my worst one…
::No, her worst had been with the Kindred. At the thought of them, a shiver ran up and down Alora’s spine. That was a situation she hoped to never repeat.::
DeVeau: But it’s up in the top five, I’d say.
Alexander: ?
DeVeau: I just hope there aren’t going to be any unexpected lingering effects.
Alexander: ?
