::As ordered, Irina immediately raised the shields and by doing so left the Andorians to their fate.  She doubted that whoever was in command of the last remaining Andorian cruiser would rescue survivors from the damaged ship, but there was nothing Irina could do about it.  A few seconds later and Herrera’s decision was confirmed as the Romulan station exploded.  If their shields were down, Vigilant would have been reduced to just a bit more debris to mix in with that of the station.::

Pavlova: Station destroyed, Andorian cruiser destroyed.  Incoming transmission from Ccentral section.

Herrera: Put it on the speakers.

::Their conversation was interrupted by a report from mission ops.::

Oot: Sir, the remaining Andorian cruiser is powering its engines.

Ki'Kay: Should I lay in a pursuit course?

Herrera: No, let them go. Starfleet Command won't let this lie. They'll have people sniffing after them soon enough. I get the feeling they won't exactly be welcome back in Andorian space.

Pavlova: Without torpedoes and weakened shields we aren’t much of a match for them anyway.

T'Mihn: This is going to be difficult to explain back home. 

Avery: Response

::The doors at the back of the bridge opened, admitting some of the crew from the ventral section.::

Herrera: Good to see you gentlemen. Is everyone alright?

Eerie: Fine sir. Looks like you have a good shooter at tactical.::Looking over at  Commander Pavlova.::

 

Udas: Response 

Pavlova: My one skill that isn’t out of date.

 Herrera: Response

T'Mihn:  Welcome back. 

Eerie: Guess she will be aiming for department chief next.  Sir.::A small smile developed briefly.::

Pavlova::Jokingly:: : Well the Kliingons promote by single combat.  Immunity to phasers is a problem, and I’d rather not wrestle with you, but from a distance?  Maybe.

Avery/Udas/Herrera:Response

T'Mihn:  I tried to keep the fort intact. 

Udas: Response 

::An EPS conduit chose then to give  an irate incandescent spat of sparks into her hair.  Smelling burning hair, T'Mihn sighed softly, rolled her eyes as she patted out the small spot.:: 

T'Mihn: That's the tenth time she's bitten me.  I don't think Vigilant liked me  fiddling with her sensor array.

Pavlova: Oh and sorry chief, I used all of your torpedoes.

T'Mihn: Captain, if I am not needed here, I need to see if sickbay is going to need any blood.

Pavlova:  And I’ll be heading down to check on our Romulan guests.  ::to Eerie:: : Chief, the empty torpedo launchers are all yours.

::With that Irina stood up and followed T’Mihn to the lift.  As soon as the doors closed and they both input their destinations, Irina leaned against the wall and let out a deep breath.::

Pavlova: Well that was fun.

T’Mihn: Response?

Pavlova: When we get back to DS6 lets have a farewell drink.  I think its time I went back home.
