((Turbolift))
T'Mihn: :: Heavy sigh:: Deal on the drink. I need to warn you, alcohol doesn't affect v'tosh... so if the intent is to get drunk,we'll have to figure what does make me three sheets to the winds.
::She gave the Russian a grin.::
::Irina regretted not inviting the young ensign::
Avery: I sort of feel like a could use a drink myself. Rough few moments, back there :: She tried to give a smile, but it came out with another wince. ::
T'Mihn: Ensign Avery, I think you should come with me to sickbay.
Pavlova: Yeah, best you treated in advance for tomorrow's hangover. Your getting seriously drunk tonight ensign, thats an order.
Avery: It couldn't hurt to get checked out, I suppose ... :: she paused, then gave a soft smile :: Thank you.
(( Sickbay ))
:: The three officers entered sickbay to find a scene which - while hectic - was not nearly as bad as Avery had imagined. Fortunately, it was quiet enough for them to hear their comms. ::
Pavlova: Why am I here again? I hate sickbay.
Herrera: =/\= Herrera to all senior staff. Report to the ready room in 30 minutes. Herrera out. =/\=
Pavlova::Sarcastically:: : Great.
Adiar-Walker: Response
T'Mihn: Ensign Avery and I got tossed about a bit. I'm also offering my services of blood or plasma donation to help with the Romulans.
Pavlova: And the young ensign here needs help for tomorrow's hangover.
Avery: I'm not too bad myself, doc ... but I wouldn't mind a concussion screening if anyone has time.
Adair-Walker: Response?
Pavlova::backing away from the biobed:: : Oh no, your not getting me anywhere near one of those things. I'm just escorting the two eggshell twins here.
T'Mihn: ::sideways grin.:: Yeah, we're pretty hard headed. Dense skeleton saved my hide a few times.
Avery: :: wincing under the bright sickbay lights :: Have to say ... I'm pretty jealous. A thicker skull might have helped me out back there.
Adair-Walker: Response?
Pavlova: Well I'm outta here, gotta go check on the beasties in cargo bay 2.
T'Mihn: If you need help with the Romulans besides blood, I can do field medicine too.
::Irina turned and left, leaving the two broken skulls to the care of the doctors.
Adair-Walker: Responses
((Captain's ready room))
::After a brief check on cargo bay 2 where the ensign and petty officer previously dispatched had everything well under control, Irina made her way up to the captain's ready room and walked in just in time to see Udas with his jaw on the floor over the attractive young engineer. She hung back at the door for a moment to watch the drama before entering.
Udas: ::smiling:: Pleasure to meet you, Ensign. I'm Chief Science
Officer Udas. Please, have a seat.
::He put his hand on the back of the chair next to him and spun it for her.::
Avery: Response
Udas: ::leaning in and whispering to her:: I'm sorry we haven't
properly met yet. I don't know if you heard, but we had a little
problem with some Romulans.
Avery: Response
Udas: A phasing cloak or something another. Ask
Dueld...err..Lieutenant taJoot. He uncovered the whole thing while we
were on the station. ::he threw his hands up, in faux confusion::
You're lucky to have a good section Chief in the Lieutenant.
Avery: Response
Udas: ::still leaning in:: Listen, Ensign, I'd love to hear more about
what happened on the bridge while I was away. What do you say to
dinner and drinks at the Watchpost after all this official business
stuff is over. ::he offered her a sly smile::
Avery: Response
::Irina walked around behind Udas and placed a hand teasingly on his shoulder::
Pavlova: Should I be jealous?
Udas: Response?
Pavlova: In all seriousness, I'm sorry. Their shields were extremely stout, their hull plating not so much. I was only trying to take out their warp drive, didn't expect those ships to have so little armor under all that shielding.
Udas: Response?
Pavlova: Anyway, I'm sorry. Oh, and I think you should go for it. I hear earth girls are easy.
Udas: Response?
::Just then the captain broke the silence and Irina very quickly slipped into an empty seat.::
Herrera: Response?
