Holokaia was fed up with his creator in so much an AI could approximate this through his algorithms. That idiot was absolutely running himself into the ground and Holokaia knew that. He's seen it before back the Academy. He's watched Ikaia pull multiple all nighters studying, help his Vulcan friends study for the bedside manners class, and then on the day of an important class, he'd only get a few steps outside his dorm room door before passing out entirely. Then there were the multiple incidents where he came down with some sort of flu or another and INSIST on working on writing his essays instead or resting up. At least he never left his dorm when he knew he was potentially contagious. But in short, Holokaia would say Ikaia's condition of being a bad patient was very common in his line of work.
This of course meant he was going to look for a little bit of outside help this time. He had run multiple simulations in the time Ikaia dismissed him just to find an ideal solution to his problem. The wisdom of the crowd should work.

Logic dictated to Holokaia that if they reached out to his wayward creator that they'd hear how bad he sounded.

At this point, he was now walking towards Phyllis. The last point in his plan.
Holokaia: Crewman Phyllis. I require assistance.
Phyllis: Response.
Holokaia: Creator Ikaia Wong has the signs of hypothermia. Core body temperature too low. Needs care.
He pointed at Ikaia and sure enough, he did look like he wasn't at his best.
Phyllis: Response.
Holokaia: Understood. Will be on stand-by if you wish.
And now he can watch and wait as he got that ball in motion.

((OOC: Split this up into two sims instead of one (Are You Satisfied With Your Care? and Physician Assistant, Heal Thyself!) just for better flow. I think it leans way more on aftermathy side of things anyways. Also, this is probably one more really good reason why Ikaia should NEVER have a time-turner.))
