::Teller smirked from his office as he heard the unmistakable sound of running footfalls on the decking.  Good to know the new guy was enthusiastic.::

Pragus: .::..When Teller rounded the corner, Ronen held up a finger, silently asking for a few moments while his bent over form leaned against the bulkhead.:: Ronen. ::Pants:: Pragus. ::Pants:: Reporting for duty. ::Pants:: Sir.

Teller: oO I wonder if I was this bad when I came aboard? Oo

Teller: ::smirking:: Should I summon a medical team, Ensign?

Pragus: ::He had to swallow before finally regaining stability.:: Sorry sir, I think the turbolifts are running slowly.

::Teller's face hardened a fraction.::

oO Time to have a bit of fun. Oo

Teller: Funny you should mention that, Ensign, because replacing the auxiliary turbolift grav-actuators is number... ::Teller consulted his PADD with a flourish:: ...number twenty three on today's list of things to do. Now, take this....and this....and these....and that....and two of those.....and you're going to want that....

::Teller had managed to grab three toolkits worth of gear, half a tray of components from the lab and something Wil had picked up at Esperence which looked a bit like a long fork. It was awkward to carry and heavy as hell. By the time Teller was done, the young Ensigns arms were visibly shaking with strain.::

Pragus: I take it we’re not running computer simulations.

::Teller laughed and patted the young man on the back, nearly sending him and his workshed of tools sprawling to the deck.::

Teller: No simulations today, Mr. Pragus Hope you didn't expect every day aboard the Veritas to include clean sheets and room service.

Pragus: Actually sir, I was hoping for an Engineering post when I graduated. This is gonna be the highlight of my week.

Teller:  Excellent answer Ensign.  Lets get going.

::Teller smirked as the young man turned, his legs wobbling as he tried to balance the massive pile.  To his credit, he hadn't dropped anything yet.  They made their way slowly to the turbolift.  Teller pressed the call button and crossed his arms across his chest.::

Teller:  So Ensign, how's your singing voice?

Pragus:  Response

Teller:  Oh that's fine.  Acoustics in the jefferies tubes are excellent!

Pragus:  Response

::The turbolift arrived and the two stepped aboard.::

Teller:  Lets see....hmm...need to re-tune the sensor arrays.  Doubt we'll manage to blow up the ship doing that.  Computer, Deck 4 forward.

::The lift chirped and hummed to life. Teller had to admit to himself the kid was right - the pitch was off.::

Pragus:  Response

Teller:  So, what's your story Mr. Pragus?

Pragus:  Response

Teller:  Is that so?

Pragus:  Response

::The turbolift slid to a halt and the doors opened on an empty hallway.  Teller decided to show a little mercy and removed his toolkit from the imbalanced pile before leading the way towards the sensor control room::

Pragus:  Response
