OOC: Sorry for taking sooo long to respond to this post…catching them all up hopefully this weekend…

The awards ceremony was over, and the realization that this part of his journey was coming to an end. AS Kelrod approached, Hannibal realized that besides Wong, those two were the ones whom he was closest to, and whom he would miss…Kelrod: So, are you ready for your next adventure?
Parker:: smiling:: I suppose so. Looks like Utopia Planetia is my next stop for awhile, working on the Miranda Class reboot. I guess I’ll do pretty good there.
Kelrod: I'm sure you will, if you've proven something is that you're capable of many things, overcome years of training and specialization and be more than what you already are.
That meant a lot to him. Hannibal had been known for most of his career as the one you call to visit hell upon an enemy, a task that he excelled at. So much so that many found it difficult to see him as anything but a warfighter. Here on the Veritas, he had other roles and duties which were very different from what he had done, in roles in which he excelled. Kelrod: I've yet to decide about my future, but I have some offers on my table
Parker: Well, if you are like most of us, you got at least a years’ worth of leave time stacked up…
Kelrod: response
Parker: My advice? Take your time. Spend some time with someone you care about. Recharge your batteries. If you decide to visit Earth, you’ve got a place to stay.
Kelrod: response
Parker: Don’t mention it. For all you did for me, that’s the least I can do. Fair winds and following seas Commander…
