Strathmore: I can do that, certainly.
Sherlock: Okay, ::looking at Strathmore:: Ensign, you and Doctor Doucet, I want the two of you working on waking up those patients.
Doucet: Of course, Commander.
Reine'X: Anything I can do in the meantime, Sir?
Charn: Response
Strathmore: Aye, aye.
Sherlock: Ensign ::looking at Reine'X:: you and I, we're going to have a chat with ::nodding towards Charn:: Mister Charn.
Reine'X: Looking forward to it :: she showed a faint, slight smile, knowing there is so much more they can learn from Charn privately.
Charn: Response
Sherlock: Doctor Doucet, we're going to use your office.
Commander Sherlock went into Dr. Doucet’s office with Reine’X and Charn while Arthur stayed with the good Doctor herself.
Doucet: Righty then. Shall we? That animazine is a good idea for the Cullum. I’ll grab some. You get the other two Caraadians and see if they need anything. No more than half a cc each at first. If that doesn’t do it, go up a step. Let me know if they start needing more than that.
Arthur smiled.
oO She thinks I had a good idea! Oo
Arthur managed to hold back a celebratory cheer. Arthur focused on Doucet’s words.
oO Sleeping Caraadians, on it. All I need is… uh… Oo
Arthur patted his hips with his palms before requesting the device.
Strathmore: On it. But Doctor, do you mind if I borrow a hypospray?
Dr Doucet nodded, then handed Arthur the hypospray he needed. Arthur took the initiative and walked over to one of the unconscious Caraadians and worked to bring them back to the waking galaxy. In his periphery, Arthur saw the Doctor walk over to Cullum to do the same with her own hypospray. Arthur placed the device into the Caraadians neck and the soft whistle of compressed air sounded out as the stimulant entered the patient. The Doctor gave him an inquisitive thumbs up. Arthur forced a smile.
Strathmore: All good. You?
The Doctor smiled and nodded back at him and proceeded to find a soft spot on the cullum to administer the animazine. She had to administer it twice due to the high tolerance of the Cullum.
oO I’ve never seen anything like it. Oo
Finally, the Cullum stirred. As well as the first Caraadian. It would likely take a tad longer for them to awaken due to the more conservative dosage and the longer duration of their coma.
oO That’s just my thought anyway. Oo
Arthur moved to the second Caraadian and repeated the process.
Cullum: Ugh. Where am I?
Doucet: You’re on the USS Valkyrie-A, a Starfleet vessel. We’re in orbit of Tavros III. We found you comatose in a container floating in space. How do you feel?
The large being turned and looked at the Doctor and their surroundings for a long moment before answering.
Cullum: … I see. Do you have water? I am very thirsty.
Doucet: Of course. I’ll get you a glass. Just stay here. I’ll be right back.
The Cullum nodded slowly and leaned back on the biobed. She moved to get a glass of water and check in with Arthur.
Doucet: Mission accomplished on my end. I’m getting our new friend some water. How are things on your end?
Arthur administered the stimulant to the second Caraardian.
Strathmore: Just finished administering a dose now.
As unequipped as Arthur felt in the beginning of his time here in sickbay, at least he was not useless.
Doucet/Cullum/Caraadian: Response
The second Caraadian began to stir.
Strathmore: We should perhaps get more water.
Doucet/Cullum/Caraadian: Response
oO A posse of parched patients. Oo
Strathmore: I can go replicate a few more liters.
