V’Nille got a bite! That was exciting. Reine’X, the ship’s (tall) Orion counselor, was willing to come along on an impromptu adventure on a new world. It was always good to run into someone else willing to leap without looking too hard.
Reine’X: Do you already have anything specific planned in mind?
V’Nille: Yeah! I talked with one of the contacts they gave us and it seems like there’s potential for some really neat stuff we can find there. They promised to have a tour guide available if we let them know we’re coming ahead of time. I’m thinking… one hour? I’ll go alone if I have to but company makes everything more pleasant..
Reine'X: Indeed. All right, count me in. ::Reine’X smiled, genuinely looking forward to the experience:: I’m ready now.
The calico pumped a fist into the air.
V’Nille: Yes! Okay, good.
Reine'X: And where shall we go first?
V’Nille: Their capital! It’s a city on the largest landmass they have down there, apparently. It’s also where they direct newcomers to visit, so they’re building out a tourist industry from there.
Reine'X: Is anyone else coming with us?
V’Nille: Good question! I have no idea! I was going to look around to see if anyone else would come with me.
Aleron: Response
V’Nille: Oh! Captain, I thought you were just walking by. You want to join us for the trip down?
Aleron / Reine’X: Response
V’Nille’s tail swayed behind her, almost wagging in her excitement. She was thrilled by the prospect of going somewhere new with others, especially people she wanted to get to know more of.
V’Nille: Oh, you’re very welcome to come! The forecast today is mildly chilly, sunny, and fairly humid. It’s spring in that area of the world now, so it’s not quite as warm as it can get but the sun will keep us warm. Do you want to take a shuttle or beam down?
Aleron / Reine’X: Response
V’Nille: That works for me! Grab what you need, meet up in about an hour? Or we can go now and surprise them, if you’re ready and willing.
