Lt. Commander T'Ama - Banjo Gothic

T’Ama: Welcome. Come in.
Azura Ada was at her door. They were going to start a band.

T’Ama had met her at the door. It opened into a plain, barren entryway that jagged immediately left in a hallway.
T’Ama: This way.
She led Azura down the short hallway, which turned right and opened up into the main living space of the first officer’s quarters. A wall of floor to ceiling windows of transparent aluminum gently curved with the hull, the blue water world of Aelkuun dramatically filling most of it. There was a full kitchen, dining area, living room with sectional sofa, doors to other rooms - even a small seating area set up close to the windows as if it were an outdoor space, though obviously it was still entirely enclosed in the ship.
It was all rather grand.

T’Ama: It’s definitely a far cry from sharing interior quarters on deck 18 of the Conny.

Most of the furnishings were standard issue and fastidiously picked up in a Vulcan way. There was little evidence of personalization in the main living space. T’Ama led Azura through the kitchen to another short corridor, and through one of the doors into a room.
The windows continued, but the room was overall less grand due to the smaller dimensions. The walls were covered in a variety of acoustic panels. There was an upright piano against one wall, guitars, a banjo with a black head giving it a particularly goth vibe, a ka'athyra, and in the back a full drum kit with twice the regular number of cymbals. And a gong, hung on the back wall.
Clearly this was the room that had gotten the most attention.
T’Ama: I decided to turn this one into a music studio, since, you know, what else am I gonna do with the extra rooms.
