Madeline re-read the data on her PADD as the shuttle came to a rest aboard the Valkyrie for what felt like the fiftieth time, however no matter how many times she examined it, a solution did not come to her. She absentmindedly brushed at her hair, its bedraggled appearance refusing to sit correctly. All in all, she looked like she hadn't slept the entire trip. 

She sighed as the shuttle's doors lowered, and she stepped off as its only passenger, head still buried in her data and intending to head straight to her quarters. 

Madeline: ::Muttering to herself. completely unaware of the world around her::  What if they repurposed the deep space sensors - No that wouldn't -

Is'Kah/Azura: Responses

Madeline, entirely lost in thought, did not hear either officer. With a thud, she walked straight into Is'Kah and bounced off of them and in her desperate flailing to recover, she tumbled to the ground, narrowly avoiding hitting another officer that was next to them. As she hit the deck, her senses caught up to her and she realized who she had just hit and her face turned a deep red. 

Madeline: Sorry!, Sorry!! Spirits, I didn't mean to - are you ok‽‽

She quickly dusted herself off and stood, clutching the remains of her PADD.

Madeline: I didn't see you two... ::Pause:: What are you doing here?

It entirely didn't process that either of the two women would be there to greet her, and she looked just as puzzled as she did looking over her now glitching PADD, its holographic interface emitting bursts of nonsensical errors and static. 

::Madeline forced herself to tear herself from her PADD, praying silently that its memory was intact.::

Madeline: I - ... I wasn't gone that long... was I? :: She paused, processing what they had just said:: Wait - I'm sorry... I just... ::She gestured at her PADD:: I was.. and you two... 

Her brain seemed to still be playing catch up, and whatever was bothering her before was now wrestling with her, stubbornly demanding her attention despite the current situation she had walked into.
