V’Nille: That makes sense! Most science and engineering types I’ve met settle into a specialty at some point simply because it gets harder to know everything. Science especially. I know some engineers can get away with being more generalist and flexible. I imagine the fact that all the systems have to work together makes that easier to maintain.
Hughes: ::Nodding agreement:: That definitely played a part in my decision for sure Commander. Things on Veldora Prime tend to be so….. predetermined. I am kind of looking forward to just seeing what surprises life has in store for me, you know?
V’Nille: ::nodding:: Yes, I can see that. I am not familiar with Veldora Prime but if you’re looking for a place to be surprised at, you could hardly do worse than Starfleet!
