LtCmdr Azura Ada - reporting for duty, ma'am

Azura stood in the turbolift that was rapidly approaching the bridge, and exhaled as she checked her uniform one last time. First impressions. The door peeled open to reveal the thoroughly modern bridge, far removed from the palatial Galaxy class, the Achilles refit was something to behold. 

And standing there in the center of it all was the new captain, Captain Isara Aleron, a Centauran. Azura had only seen her from afar, but liked the vibe the woman put out - cool, thoughtful, and considerate.

She announced her arrival as she approached the woman from behind.

Ada: Captain Aleron -- Lieutenant Commander Azura Ada, science officer, reporting.

Aleron: ?

Ada: Thank you, ma'am. ::surveying the stations on the bridge:: Quite the bridge, and the Valkyrie poses a striking profile. I'm excited to get to know her.

There was a genuine sincerity in her voice. Though she was being formal, she meant it. The Valkyrie was a totally new mission profile for her, and she was eager to see what it entailed.

Aleron: ?

Ada: Yes, ma'am. I previously served as First Officer, Second Officer, and Science Science Officer aboard the Constitution, under Commodore Jalana Rajel. On the Chin'toka, I served as a specialist in the science department.

Aleron: ?

Ada: I enjoyed it immensely, but life, ah, took some unexpected turns. It was helpful to pull back a bit, focus on the basics. I'm sure you're aware of my service record?

Aleron: ?
