EZ Bake Profit Oven - User Instructions (Profit Version)
Congratulations, customer! You now own the EZ Bake Profit Oven. You have made a wise investment with much potential for profit!
Step 1: Acquire Power
No power = no cooking = no profit! Plug the device into a standard wall socket. If sparks come out, unplug quickly. Warranty does not cover stupidity!
Step 2: Prepare Food
Only insert small food items into the EZ Bake Profit Oven. Do NOT insert gold pressed latinum!
Step 3: Set Heat Level
Turn knob to set heat level. Faster heat means faster profits!
Step 4: Wait (The Worst Part)
You must wait while food cooks. While you are waiting, consider engaging in these profitable activities:
- Planning your next transaction
- Evaluating supply chains
- Charging others to watch oven
The cheap pages crinkled in the tiny instruction booklet as Nelis checked the next page, and then looked up at the EZ Bake Profit Oven. Every quarters was equipped with a replicator for convenience, but naturally that would not do for baking! The EZ Bake Profit Oven was the smallest desktop electric oven she could find - perfect for small spaces like a shared ensign quarters.
It was maybe a little too small, though. She had only been able to fit two cookies on the tiny tray. She delicately pushed the little tray into the oven and closed the door, and looked back at the instructions, then back up at the oven. It only had three heat levels - low, medium, and high - and she had no idea what temperatures that actually was.
Orla: Okay, I guess… medium?
She twisted the cheap plastic knob to medium heat, and then twisted the timer knob to 10 and sat back in her chair.
The Yellow Alert had sent her back to her quarters. She wasn’t important enough to be essential, so she decided to fill the time by trying to bake some real fresh cookies for Mr. Trench! But she hadn’t realized it could only bake two at a time, and she had mixed up her regular sized batch of cookie dough. That was two dozen cookies!
Orla: I should have thought this through more… but Mr. Trench needs these cookies!
Out from under her pillow Nelis pulled out her pink fuzzy diary and unlatched it. She turned to a new page, and with her fluffy puffball pen she titled it.

She tapped the paper decisively. She would add anyone who needed cookies to her Cookie List!
