Ensign Gideon Hughes - Origin Stories

((Junior Officer’s Quarters, Deck 7, USS Valkyrie-A)) 

Hughes: I could use a chaperone to show me around and introduce me to our fellow ensigns. Surely, since you’ve been around, you could show me where all the cool kids hang?

Strathmore: I really only know Vaysha and Zol, but I’m acquainted with Ensign Koyama, Reine’X less so. But, hey, this is a good excuse to get to know them more.

Hughes: Well I can’t think of a better excuse to get better acquainted with them, right? We can all share stories and motivate each other to keep advancing on the ship huh? Nothing stronger than a united front!

Strathmore: We could all go to Valhalla. I could show you the kitchen and then we can meet up with the rest of the Ensigns in the actual lounge.

Hughes: Sounds like a solid idea. I’ve gotten a chance to visit it once already… and had an unfortunate experience with my first Raktajino. We could call it a meet and greet and then maybe get together on a regular schedule perhaps?

Arthur nodded and took a bite of his burger. 

Strathmore: Vaysha is who I am closest to. We both went to the Academy… twice and we both served on Denali Station together.

Hughes: Wow. In that case, you two must make quite the team! Ok, how about you talk to Zol and Vaysha and I’ll get Ensigns Koyama and Reine’X on board. Say we’ll have our first meeting in 1 weeks time.

Gideon looked pumped up, jamming the rest of his burger in his mouth haphazardly and then rinsing it down with the rest of his beer.
