Doucet: Sounds good. When do you want to start? There is a little bit of preparation I need to do, so we can’t start right this minute but otherwise, we can schedule it anytime.

 

Xiron:: Looking at Is'Kah.:: Whenever you are ready, zh’yi.

 

Is’Kah:  I wish for the first available appointment.

 

Doucet: ::nodding:: Alright. I’ll see you then.

 

Xiron: I can’t thank you enough. You have given us hope.

 

Is’Kah: Indeed, doctor, thank you.

 

Doucet: ::smiling:: I’m just happy I get to help you with something like this.

 

Is’Kah: We will see you then. Have a good rest of your day.

 

Xiron: Good day. And thank you.

 

Doucet: ::nodding:: You too.

 

(( Some time later, in a private room in Sickbay ))

 

Ghee’looth returned to sickbay trying to not to allow her emotions to get the better of her or Is’Kah through their melded katras.  She held her lover’s hand and tried to focus on the positives of the day. Looking over at Is’Kah she could tell zha was doing her best to also be brave. They found Sylvie.

 

Is’Kah: Hello, Sylvie.

 

Xiron: Hello.

 

Doucet: Hello, Is’Kah, Ghee’looth. How are you feeling? Ready to get started?

 

Is’Kah: We’re ready.

 

Xiron:: Holding her antennae in a forced neutral position.:: Nervous but ready.

 

Doucet: Excellent. Is’Kah, if you’ll lay down. Ghee, if you want to close the door for privacy…?

 

Ghee’looth moved to the panel and tapped the privacy lock control.

 

Xiron: Done.

 

She returned to Is’Kah’s side.

 

Is’Kah: Response

 

Doucet: It won’t take too long. I just need to take Is’Kah’s vitals first and then we can get started. Do you have any last minute questions or concerns before we do that?

 

Xiron: Do you babysit?::She attempted a joke to ease her tension.

 

Is’Kah: Response

 

Doucet: Alright, that’s good. Don’t be afraid to message me or pop in later if you can think of anything. Let’s get those vitals and then get to work. I’ll explain each bit as it comes up. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. We’ll be done before you know it!

 

Xiron:: Squeezing Is’Kah’s hand.:: We are so close, Zh’yi.

 

Looking down at her partner she felt a profound love for the woman, the zhen that she saw. Her future was here with zha and their now expanding family.
