Is’Kah stared at the mountain and its thick snow, wondering what zha was thinking when zha agreed to take this hike. The hybrid could see zhen breath for Hestia’s sake! That’s not meant to happen. The fluffy frozen water covered zhen boot-covered foot, while the rest of zhen was covered in thick winter gear that only exposed a little of zhen face.
The sting on zhen's face put zhen on edge, almost causing hyper-vigilance. Glancing around, Is’Kah counted all the hikers before shaking zhen head. Zha wasn’t on duty, thus zha should try to relax and let the guides do their jobs. Yet, the hybrid's trauma wouldn’t let zhen fully relax, forcing zhen to build a mental map with the location of every person.

Is'Kah: This is one of the things I love about Earth, there are so many picturesque views.

Koyama: The trail is supposed to be a decent challenge, but the guide I spoke to said its very doable if your fit. 4-5 hours maybe more? It's not like we cant beam out if we get tired.

The hybrid nodded; every muscle would be sore by the time they finished. The others would have an easier time, but zhen extreme petiteness worked against zhen here. Even if the Vulcan half could counter most of the drawbacks to zhen size, there were a few glaring exceptions.
Koyama: Well.. any last checks before we begin?
Is'Kah: I’m good, as long as a blizzard doesn’t roll in.

The hybrid let out a sigh, noting zhen's breath again, reminding zhen of a question zha had.
