Ensign Vaysha Lennai - Off We Go!

Vaysha was busy trying to pick out what to wear. She had heard the climate was likely humid, so she went back and forth between a few options before deciding on a black leather jacket, an oversized red sweater, some baggy slacks, and casual shoes -- and some sunglasses. Can't forget the sunglasses. As she got dressed, as if on cue, she heard a chime at her door notifying that someone was here. She wobbled on over before opening it up. Standing in front of her was Arthur, in all his sweater'd glory. Great minds think alike, or so they say.

oO Classic Arthur. Oo
She looked him over for a moment, and judging from his facial expression, Arthur was as excited as she was to stretch their legs.
Strathmore: You ready?
Vaysha flipped down her sunglasses and looked Arthur up and down, scrutinizing his outfit a bit deeper. If it was too bad, she'd have to have him change. He learned from last time, it seems.
Lennai: Always. Love the sweater.
Strathmore: Why thank you! I got something for you.
oO A gift? For me? And I didn't get him anything. Oh well. More stuff. Oo
She knew that being materialistic was a bit silly, but she couldn't shake the habit of enjoying.. things. Arthur then revealed his gift. It was a very large straw hat. Vaysha looked at it, not knowing how she didn't see it behind his back with how oversized it was.
Lennai: What size is that, 10-XL? ::Smirking::
Arthur laughed, Vaysha joined him.
Strathmore: I specified to the replicator to double the usual size. What better for a perfect day out on a new world?
Lennai: Couldn't agree more.

She reached forwards and took the hat from him before propping it up on her head. She turned from left to right in an exaggerated motion, and the hat immediately bumped into the doorframe, causing her to wobble and then step forward.
Lennai: Well, since I'll be rocking this thing for the duration of our trip, I suppose I should get used to my new head circumference sooner rather than later.
Strathmore: Response
Lennai: Yes, let's get going. What was this place called again?
Strathmore: Response
Lennai: That's right. Sorry, my mind has been so boggled with this ship. I'll spare you my ranting and raving for now, until I get bored and decide to not spare you.
Strathmore: Response
With that, she nodded and followed along with him, heading towards the transporter room.
