Ensign Vaysha Lennai - It's So Green

[Vaysha]

((Brew Continuum, Deck 7, USS Valkyrie))

Vaysha had been relaxing in her down time on Deck 7 -- specifically at the Brew Continuum to get a beverage. She wasn't much of a drinker nowadays, but she'd enjoy a social drink every now and then. The Orion woman was lounging back in her chair with her arm propped up, wearing her standard issue uniform and not looking to impress anyone, clearly. The stray person sat down and spoke to her and she exchanged pleasantries and introductions, but she had no incredibly noteworthy interactions in her mind. It was just before she was about to leave that she saw a group of three other Orion's start approaching her. Her brown eyes widened and then narrowed, a coy smile appearing. 

Tani: Hello there, I’m Maha Tani, Federation News Service.

Vaysha: Vaysha Lennai. Just call me Vaysha. 

Reine'X: And, I'm Reine'X.

Zarax: Response

Tani: Would you mind if we joined you and got to know each other?

Vaysha: ::Looking at the empty seats around her.:: Nope. 

She reclined a bit further, swirling her nondescript beverage and taking a sip. 

Reine'X:  And while we all introduce ourselves, I’ll have that raktajino. ::she said, as if anyone else in the room should have any idea that she was craving a Klingon coffee.::

A server was just approaching them, so she nodded to him to place her order.

Zarax: Response

Tani: Lovely. I’m from the Bronx, New York City, Earth. What about the three of you?

Vaysha: On a merchant vessel orbiting Khitomer. Don't really have one place I'd call home.  

Reine'X: I was born on Qo'noS.

Zarax /Tani: Responses

Vaysha: That's interesting enough. I'll drink to that. ::She joked, taking another sip.::

Reine'X: And how did you all end up in Starfleet...? It’s not like there are a lot of us here...

The four women were now casually chatting when Reine'X finally got her much-craved raktajino. Vaysha looked at her take a sip.

Zarax: Response

Tani: Response

Vaysha: Well, me personally? I was always into ships growing up, having been born on one. My father had me in the helm seat around the same time I learned to walk. ::She chuckled.::

Reinex: That's so interesting.

Zarax/Tani/Reine'X: Responses

Vaysha: Oh, no. My first posting was on Denali Station. It was.. well. Let's just say I hope to make better memories here.

Vaysha quietly observed the other three chatting before leaning forwards, placing her forearms on the table.
