(( Engineering, USS Thor ))
((I left some tags for anyone that wants to jump into Engineering NPC in this scene))
Salo: Are you all right?
Toz: ::looking at the counsellor:: Yeah, sure.
Salo: This your first ship?
Toz: Yes. Uh, lieutenant. Fresh out of the academy. We had a lot of
practice but nothing this intense.
Salo: Looks like we’ve got someone awakening.
Aiya: Report –
Aiya looked around, trying to make sense of whatever was
happening. It wasn’t just engineering that was broken.
Toz: Just relax.
Aiya tried to sit up, Toz gently pushed the woman back down.
Toz: Everything will be fine.
Nesre took up a position to assist Doctor Toz should she need it.
Salo: Welcome back, crewman.
Aiya: Thanks, I really need to get back to work now. I’m sure there are
far more serious injuries than a malfunctioning arm.
Toz: Well, okay. But you wait until I can get this osteotractor in
place. ::shaking her head:: It will help to heal bone in record time. Now, just
relax. Ten minutes isn’t going to cause the ship to explode.
Salo: You’re in Excellent hands, crewman, she’ll get you straight in no
time.
Aiya: Fine, just please do whatever it is quick. How are the rest?
Toz: Response
Salo: There, you should feel less pain now.
Aiya: Thanks Doc. Now really,
what’s the situation. Better? Worse?
Toz: Response
Salo: I’m not sure what’s going on, right now. I’ve basically
heard rumours and I can’t verify the authenticity of anything, so I’d rather
not pass along false information.
Aiya: Well, I know something hit us, or we rammed something. You do know
about physical contact, right doc-
She tried to make a joke, and laugh, but pain from somewhere new on her body stopped that immediately. She made a slight whimper, then shook her head.
Aiya: I’m fine!
Toz/Salo: Response
Engineering was not fine however. Limited power had been restored to 14%, and auxiliary power banks had been reconnected.
One, maybe two systems could be operated fully, but certainly no transporters, weapons, or warp. They were as helpless as an old sailing ship, lost in a storm.
Aiya finally regained her feet, and roamed around the deck, surveying the damage, monitoring the progress.
Aiya: Does anyone have any idea what
actually happened? I’ll take an updated damage report if there is one. Lets
work on getting full comms backup, internal and external. Lets see what we are
dealing with.

Toz/Salo: Response
She was feeling blind, and wanted so badly to be helpful.
Aiya: =/\= Engineering to bridge. =/\=
Bridge: =/\=response=/\=
Aiya: =/\= Petty Officer Aiya here, We’re still picking up the pieces down here. You have 14% power restored, and most of auxiliary. Its safe to run two systems fully at the most, but certainly no transporters or weapons. We’re still working to get comms restored. Please update us on what actually happened, we will try to work the problem from here. Engineering out. =/\=
One more spark flew from something deep inside a nest of wires. Aiya grimaced, grabbed the nearest tool kit, and headed inside the Jefferies tube access. Her arm, such as it was, didn’t stop her from trying to work.
Aiya: I’ll be fine doctors!
She then disappeared, complaining and yelling as the went into the tube, her voice echoing deeper every second.
