Tito nodded at the perfectly logical reply and followed the Doctor’s instructions.
He wasn’t usually one to do jokes, but given their last encounter he couldn’t resist to comment.

Tito: Thank you Doctor. At least this time we aren’t expected to dance…

Taj'el: That was certainly a fascinating interaction. However, I may have you move about slightly, depending on your condition.

Tito got himself comfortable as he spoke.

Tito: As you can see from the records my last one was still at Starbase 118. There have been no significant changes in my physical form. I keep exercising, roughly at the same workout schedule. And remain abstinent, without any relapses from my former addiction problem. ::He tried to remember if there was anything else he had forgotten.:: I think that’s about it.

Doctor Taj’el scrolled at her PADD and dropped it before retrieving their medical tricorder.

Taj'el: What caused the delay?

Tito shrugged.

Tito: A little neglect to be honest. I admit with the transfer and the moving, then our launch and all I had delayed it until now. I hope that isn’t problematic…

Taj’el: It is a professional inquiry, I assure you. That stated, you were assigned to an away mission, correct? To Aleph-1, if I recall accurately?

Tito nodded as the Doctor scanned him.

Tito: Yes, I was in the team led by Commander Kreshkova, with Commander Caras and Ensign Vahro.

Taj’el: Was there anything of note during that mission?

Tito shrugged as his smile faded. Recalling their mission there were some tough choices made, but it was after all part of their business.

Tito: Nothing too serious, a few bumps and bruises. I assume your query is regarding injuries?

Taj’el: Response

Tito nodded.

Tito: Understandable. It feels like our missions hadn’t exactly been routine. Even this last one, although I am not sure we can count it as a mission. I was part of Lieutenant Commander Nalendi training exercise. I have to say the Commander really proved his skills, even in what was a complicated program.

Taj’el: Response

Tito: We were assigned to the Badlands and received a distress call from a ship. It was revealed to be a Xindi Insectoid ship, they ejected their “Nursery”, we recovered it but their crew tried to board us and steal our ship, the Invicta.
We managed to resist and the Xindi surrendered after the situation was mediated and in a final reveal we learned they were being hunted down by another Xindi faction.
Luckily our ship made it safely back with… ::Tito wondered if he should reveal the dancing Xindi Insectoid babies… But instead he smiled.:: the young hatched Xindi babies.

He smiled looking back at Doctor Taj’el.

Tito: And how about your recent “mission”? How did it go?

Taj’el: Response
