The lascivious little tart actually had the audacity to walk up to her plank of a desk and put on what was most certainly her strongest pout.
Rox: Dr. La Croix I respect you a great deal. I would love to learn from you. ::beat:: But do not be condescending about the men and women serving on this ship.
Thess leaned back in her chair and smiled like the proverbial cat who'd just eaten the canary.
De La Croix: Oh you're a scrappy little thing aren't you. ::A single, bemused laugh:: Delicious. I like that, reminds me of...well..me. Although I never flounced about quite so much. Besides dearie, how could I be condescending? I've barely spoken to the man and I certainly haven't spent any time thinking about him.
Rox: I have seen V'Len up to his elbows in another crewmember while the lights were flickering around him. You may have a lot of letters behind your name, but when shit hits the fan we'll see how you stack up.
Thess took in the indignant glare with the grace and aplomb of someone who had never lowered themselves to being up to their elbows in anything. If anything, she found herself bemused. These Starfleet types were almost too easy to rile.

I have performed procedures of my own design to mend damage the likes of which a...::she nodded dismissively towards the whole of sickbay::...lowly abattoir like this can't even begin to appreciate. Now isn't there something you need to be doing...spinning a large light up wheel while bending over suggestively, perhaps?

Thess allowed herself a small, victorious smirk as the nurse slunk away to wherever it was she separated gamblers from their currency before turning her attention back towards the display. She really was finding it quite vexing that something was going on somewhere aboard this ship and yet somehow her expertise was being completely underutilized. Since it seemed like their Captain was too busy for her input, she decided instead to try a different tactic. She tapped the communication control on her desk and tried to remember the other Doctor's name.

She affected a deeply dramatic sigh.
