Renaie let out a long, relieved exhale.

Back in the counselling suites, where they were supposed to be. Yes, they technically were supposed to be in the Unity cortex, helping out, but… they didn't know if that was their place.

At least here, in the counselling suites and Sickbay, they knew where they stood.

Now Renaie was back in the office, they felt themself getting back into the flow.

Loading up the file of their next client, their notification chime interrupted, and a message popped up onscreen.

Neris: Your next client is outside.

Renaie flicked a quick "Thank you, I'll be out in a minute" before drinking some water, readusting their glasses, then stepping outside.

Shortrith: Lieutenant Velis?

They noticed the Trill in question rise from her chair and offer a hand to shake, which they took.

Velis: Yes. Good to meet you, Doctor.

Shortrith: Nice to meet you too. If you'll follow back to my office?

Velis: ::grins:: I’ll follow your lead.

Shortrith: Wonderful!

Renaie led Velis back to their office and welcomed her in with a smile.

Shortrith: Before we start, can I get you anything to drink? Tea, coffee, water, something else?

Velis: Response

Nodding, Renaie grabbed her requested drink from the replicator and a raktajino for themself.

Shortrith: Here you go - and to start off, could you tell me a little about yourself?

They stayed quiet, allowing Velis to share as much or as little about herself as she wished.

Velis: Response

Shortrith: How are you going? Both physically and mentally?

Velis: Response
