He watched the video again and chuckled as the plate of beans whirled though space striking the wall just behind the nurse's head.  Beans exploded in all directions and a fair few ended up on the side of Rox's head.  It was the best part by far, though the part where the Chief Surgeon for Department 14 had knocked a cake off a table onto a small child was a close runner up.

His FNS story, "A new front on the Greco-Persian Wars of Earth, Duchess vs. Queen" was really starting to take shape.  He'd have to get more information from the Lolagi officials on what type of sentence the pair had received, but the battle between the two was the crux of the article anyway.   He was trying to figure out which adverb worked better "severly" or "harshly" when his commbadge chirped.

Vomek became pensive.  He'd sent one video to Poagie figuring the Ferengi might have some angels on it.  He had been clear in his message that Poagie was not to share it until Vomek had submitted his news story.

Poagie: =/\= Uhh, Lieutenant, I need to ask you a favor. =/\=

Vomek: =/\= I don't have any more videos right now.  =/\=

Poagie: =/\= No nothing like that. Can you pilot a shuttle for a few hours? =/\=

Vomek was caught off guard.  He would have thought the Ferengi's ears would be burning to distribute the videos to the right buyers. Vomek had made sure he'd been clear that he was expecting a finder's fee.

Vomek: =/\= I can pilot a shuttle for a few weeks.  The question is where would you like me to take it.  Kessler and Raga's ire is already up, I'd like to steer clear of it. Is this some kind of moving a "box" from point A to point B?  An illegal "box" perhaps? =/\=

Poagie: =/\= Again, no, nothing illegal. =/\=

Vomek: =/\= Are you sure? I'm not interested in getting caught up in scheme.  =/\=

It was perhaps a bad mix.  Romulans were naturally skeptical and Ferengi always seemed to have an angle on something.  

Poagie: =/\= ::grunts in frustration:: I’m not lying. I just need you to tow something. =/\=

Vomek: =/\= Is what I'm towing illegal or restricted or contraband?  =/\=

Poagie: =/\=You know what nev…=/\=

He was about to give up but saw his sister’s puppy dog pleading eyes look..

Poagie:::sighs:: Lieutenant, I’ll happily overlook the sarcasm and insults if you could…please…help me out.

Vomek found himself feeling slightly bad.  He'd been skeptical about the motivations of another Starfleet officer.  Starfleet officers told the truth, regardless of background.  He would have to trust Poagie and hope it turned out alright.

Vomek had arrived back on the Ronin and grabbed a uniform.  He now stood next to one of the smaller Type 9 shuttlecraft, the Olmec.  Poagie entered bay followed by what seemed to be a younger female Ferengi.  Thankfully she was clothed.  Vomek gave a wave and the two approached.  

Vomek:  Will this be big enough?

Gooba Jean/Poagie: Response

The pair walked up and Vomek gave the newcomer a pleasant smile.

Vomek: Who's your friend Poagie?

Gooba Jean/Poagie: Response

Vomek:  Simon Vomek.  Pilot extraordinaire at your service.  What's our destination?

Gooba Jean/Poagie: Response

Vomek's eyes widened.  

Vomek:  You want to do what!?!
