((Command Center, Deep Space 33))
The last time she had come up here she had managed to make her way through a definitive gap in station security, entering the hub of command and control through a literally hole in the bulkhead. The station had been barely operational at that point, and while
she thought she was helping out by pointing out the gaps in the secure nature of the command deck, she had actually done a fairly efficient job at offending the station commander. This resulted in her getting herself banned from the station, a situation that
to her knowledge had never been rectified or rescinded.
So it was with some hesitation that she walked out of the lift doors and onto the very deck where this first interaction transpired.
She barely heard her boots hit the deck as she moved as silently as she could, allowing two pools of emerald to scan the various officers present before she moved much further. Her heart beat fast enough, spurred on by anxiety, that she felt as if it might
beat right out of her chest and onto the deck. Even so, she took what time she could to hesitantly move further into the throng of people.
It was only when she had entered the center proper that she found the target she'd been looking for. Almost immediately she turned towards someone else, anyone else, in a desperate attempt to keep her boots rooted where she was on the floor and not slip away
back into the shadows.
Stergis: Response?
Ash took a deep breath.
MacKenna: Commander. I've been assigned to assist here.
She swallowed hard and forced herself to look in the woman's direction.
Stergis: Response?
Thankfully it was about that time when another face joined them and Ash felt that maybe might offer some cover.
Raga: Response?
MacKenna: I...I'd like to link into Blacknet if I could. Is there a console I could borrow?
Stergis/Raga: Responses?
Fear and anxiety were powerful things, but so was her drive to help and protect the Khitomer and the Ronin, as well as the station. They were facing a very uphill battle ahead, and she wanted to assist as much as could be hoped.
(OOC - Anyone else stationed on the station, feel free to jump in!)
