Senior Chief Petty Officer Jenta Solana - Unfocused Rage

To say that Jenta was angry would have been like calling Niac’s beard just a tribble. Technically obvious but without the complex substance of the actual truth. The Orion former Starfleet Marine now Tac/Sec paced around the room, which currently displayed their present position in space like a Worene on the hunt. Both of her curved knives she always carried on her person were out and being twirled around fingers thanks to the loops at their ends. Twirl, twirl, catch. The sound of the hilts slapping against her palms accentuated the fury that was on full display on her face.
It was a terrible thing to lose shipmates, worse to lose a Captain, which she’d already experienced once before with the unexplained death of Captain Thoran, yet more terrible still to lose both Captain and First Officer.
Jenta had served with Commander Raga since the Atlantis. Both had survived everything the Consortium, Caraadians and Valcarians, had thrown at them numerous times. Fought countless battles and even survived the Siege of DS33 and now he was gone. And Captain Niac. Gone. In the instant of catastrophic warp core breach.
The visuals of their final moments replayed in her mind while she paced around the room as the overlay of those moments were shown over their present position. All the data taken by the Ronin’s sensors in the Kurosawa’s final moments played then were rewound as they tried to find something, anything new to figure out what led to this tragedy.
Her heavy pacing or maybe the occasional throw in anger of one of those curved blades that sent it into a bulkhead must have become worrisome for the others present for one of them to speak up.
Solana: ::she blinked and looked over at the group:: Huh?

Solana: Well if we actually had something to do maybe I wouldn’t be pacing! ::she snapped then immediately looked apologetic:: Sorry, Counselor. I…need something to focus on. A target. Something to make pay for what happened.
As if to punctuate her point the blade in her right hand barely completed its rotation around her finger before she flung the thing into the wall in front of her. The blade sank into the smooth wall a good two inches with a loud thunk.

Solana: What do you mean we don’t have any logs yet? Haven’t they found the Kurosawa’s black box?

Jenta yanked the knife out of the wall then tapped her comm badge angrily.
Solana: Stellar Cartography to Flight Deck. What the Hell is taking so long with that black box?!

Jenta calmed slightly at hearing Singh’s voice knowing full well that the Marine was feeling the same rage she was.
Solana: =/\= Sorry, Major. I just….need a target. You say you haven’t located it yet? We have the current area displayed with an overlay of the Kurosawa’s final moments. We should be able to use that to extrapolate the most likely position of the black box based on the sensor logs during the explosion. Just like Security forensics. =/\=
The Orion looked at T’Fearne for confirmation since she was the more scientifically minded one compared to Jenta. The Vulcan would likely be able to tell whether they had enough data faster than she did.
Jenta gave one twirl of her blades before they returned to their sheaths at the small of her back and she moved to the main console. If they followed standard Security forensics for something like this they should be able to at least give the shuttle crews a better search area to follow.
