Toryn nodded at the feline, while the Command Center would relay any potential intruders onto the station so they could mount a defense as needed, it was good to have a backup system in case the station took damage or sabotage to loss internal sensors.

Raga: Excellent work. The Khitomer crew is going to focus on organizing an evac as needed so our sole focus is on station defense. Understood?

The big cat simply nodded and his tail’s gentle sway matched his facial calm, but he expected no less from a Dominion War veteran.

T’Fearne: Yes Commander, :: resting her hands on the strap of her phaser rifle:: Sirs, may I ask what you anticipate regarding intruder capabilities and tactics? If an incursion occurs, how likely are they to negotiate or treaty?

Toryn glanced at the big cat who showed little expression in the moment aside from a few flicks of a tail and a slight ear twitch. He regarded the Ensign in front of him with a stoic, if somber look.

Raga: They won’t. Neither the Tholian Assembly, or the Sheliak Corporate take prisoners and the Alliance has shown no deviation from that. They’ve taken a once lost technology and turned it into a weapon of mass destruction they fully intend to use. And the Tholian’s Terrorformed an entire colony, small as it was, to seed it for themselves. It failed, but still ended all life on the planet. These are not people who chose negotiation or treaties as a first resort.

The Worene merely nodded his agreement.

T’Fearne::: picking up a PADD and flicking to her notes:: In that case, I have a suggestion for an additional layer of defence for the ports. Although I’m not sure if it’s feasible for the station until I speak with a DS33 engineer, if it's possible to increase the gravity in those sections, we could pin some intruders to the deck.

It was, perhaps, a good idea but based on what he’d learned in the Command Center, time was not on their side.

Raga: As someone from a high gravity world I like that idea but I’m afraid we won’t have time, nor can we spare the engineers.

T’Fearne: Understood, Sir. I’ll focus on optimizing our current defences and using conventional measures.

He heard three sets of bootfalls on approach and looked towards the entrance of their little outpost to see Valo, Kiran and Solana.

Raga: Good, you’re all here. ::He whistled softly to draw the attention of those in the room and tapped an icon on the LCARs for the primary console in the room, opening a line to all Security personnel and a single fighter outside the station:: =/\= This is Raga, I regret to inform you all that our little ploy to bait the Lattice Alliance hasn’t gone as planned. The Ronin and Khitomer engaged them, but it’s safe to assume what they engaged was a decoy of their own. The Lattice Alliance is on its way here, now and it’s clear they left a while ago. Less than an hour you said, Major? =/\=

Singh: =/\= Response =/\=

Kiran/T’Fearne/Valo: Response

The Al-Leyan gestured to the holographic image above the table beside him as the data from Snowball’s ship came through. Letting everyone see the large sensor contact on its way.

Raga: =/\= Thank you Major. Get your people back here on the double and plan your defense based on the new data. Until our ships can return, you and your pilots are the only thing keeping them outside. =/\=

Singh: =/\= Response =/\=

Raga: =/\= Good, all teams if you haven’t finished your assigned tasks then double your efforts and get to your positions. Raga out. =/\= ::He looked to those in front of him:: Solana, you’re on quick response with Epsilon squad. Osiris, grab Bekka and T’Van, you three are on overwatch.

The Orion and Worene both nodded curtly, then rushed out of the room to do as ordered.

Kiran/T’Fearne/Valo: Response

Raga: Easy. You four are with me. We’re Seiuri Squad. We’ll hold the FOP but also are a quick response force if needs be. ::He gestured to the back wall lined with temporary weapon racks:: Ensign Valo, take your pick.

The Al-Leyan picked up the rifle that had been leaning against the primary console installed in the center of the room. He quickly inspected the modified Type 204 SOSAR, particularly he made sure that the underbelly grenade launcher was loaded with a flash grenade. He slung the strap over his head and one shoulder then cinched it tight until it was comfortable around his torso.

Kiran/T’Fearne/Valo: Response

Raga: The Sheliak and Tholians are both silicon based lifeforms. Heavy stun won’t have as much of an effect on them as they would on us. So, be sure to set your weapons to setting six. To that end, be damned careful what you shoot at. We’re going to have a hard enough time not losing anyone as is without friendly fire. Understood?

Kiran/T’Fearne/Valo: Response

Raga: Good. Questions or concerns? ::He looked to the two Ensigns:: Chief Kiran and I have been through this a few times together and separately, we know what to expect, so now's the time to show your fears and worries so we can temper them with experience and hope.

Kiran/T’Fearne/Valo: Response
